NHT 24Y17333 Powder-Coated Semi-Loaded Remanufactured Brake Caliper Set (Pair), Yellow . NHT premium calipers are custom powder-coated and assembled in USA. They are available in five colors: black, gold, red, silver and yellow. Assembly is done under quality standards in compliance with OE or SAE specifications and, every NHT caliper is 100 percent pressure-tested with genuine OE testing equipment. NHT calipers are supplied in axle sets, complete with brackets, if applicable. Both the caliper housing and its mounting bracket (and in some cases, the caliper support spring) are powder-coated for a great look through your open wheels. An installation guide and a bleeder hose are supplied with the set for a clean, mistake-free installation. All pistons, bolts, bushings, hardware and other components used in the assembly process are new. Caliper housings and brackets are new, if available or reclaimed from high-quality cores if not. NHT powders are gloss or semi-gloss. They will maintain their appearance and their shine up to 500° Fahrenheit, which is more than adequate under normal driving conditions. NHT powders are non-sticky and easy to maintain. Brake dust and road dirt can easily be wiped away. Washing should only be done with warm water and mild soap. Do not use brake cleaner or other solvents. NHT recommends the use of Axxis Deluxe Advanced or XBG brake pads in combination with NHT calipers.

In fact our design is so unique we would like to go over some of the details. The first thing we will point out on the drilled rotor is the chamfer. Unlike our competition there is no edge on our chamfer. This is accomplished by the use of an outer radius curve rather than a countersink. With the radius curve or Sinusoid Curve" it virtually eliminates an edge on the surface of the hole. With no edge there is less stress build up thus reducing the chance of surface checking. This smooth surface also makes the rotor more pad friendly by reducing the wear of the pad caused by the friction scraping against a sharp edge SP Performance Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors With Optional Bright Silver Plating: Electro- plating is performed on our rotors to provide a brighter finish which is more appealing to the look of the rotor. The micro-porous film middle layer is a breathable film and a proprietary stretch-film technology developed exclusively for Kimberly-Clark. The film is stretched and then subjected to a chemical process that creates microscopic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moisture vapor and heat to escape. This helps reduce the bulk of the non-woven fabric, while providing an almost solid barrier against the elements. Its soft, paint-protecting Inner layer is another bi-component spunbond made with polyethylene and nylon. The combination results in an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio, with the “soft touch" necessary for today's water-based paint finishes. It comes with 4 Year Warranty.
